Notting Hill based, Beirut born ceramicist Syma Debbane studied at the Kensington and Chelsea College under the tutelage of Akiko Hirai. She learnt her throwing skills from Chris Bramble who encouraged her to find her own voice, comparing the delicacy of her work to Fabergé. Inspired by the smallest details in nature, she works exclusively in porcelain for its elegance and simplicity, adding a personal touch to every piece to give it heart and soul.
